Description
Denham House is a country house, built in 1712 and extended in the 1970s keeping many of its original features, surrounded by beautiful countryside yet within 3 miles of the stunning beaches of Croyde, Saunton Sands, Putsborough and Woolacombe.
A warm welcome awaits you with luxury bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, hot drinks tray, digital tvs with freeview, radio/ alarms and most with far reaching views over the surrounding countryside. We have double rooms, twin rooms and Family rooms.
A full English breakfast is served in our spacious dining room and where possible we use local produce including our own free range eggs and North Buckland grown potatoes. Vegetarian and special diets may be catered for with prior notice.
We have 3 lounges to relax in, one for families, one for adults only and the 3rd for all of our guests to enjoy, books and games available on request. We are also licensed to serve our guests with alcoholic drinks.
Outside there is ample private car parking; an extensive garden with sun terrace; a children's play area with swings, see saw and 12ft trampoline; and a large games room with full length skittle alley, table tennis, snooker and much more.
A wonderfully central base for walking, bicycling and touring holidays with lots of family attractions, gardens, activity centres, moors, beaches and towns all within a short distance or simply a beautiful, peaceful place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of busy lives. We have facilities to store surf boards and wet suit wash and drying area. Close by are the Golf courses at Saunton, Willingcott at Woolacombe and The Royal North Devon at Westward Ho!. Bicycles can be hired in Braunton to enjoy the miles of walkable or rideable Tarka Trail.
We also have 2 fully equipped self catering cottages, one sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms and the other sleeps 4 in 1 bedroom, which also enjoy all of the facilities mentioned above. Both have an open fronted garage and there is a seperate terrace for their use only.
